Sonny Can't Dance opened on King West in August 2026, in the room that was Pizza Wine Disco. It comes from Municipal Goods, the group behind Paris Texas and Small Talk Jazz, and it reads like a steakhouse raised in a different decade: gingham, lacquered gold lettering, and a dining room built for a long night rather than a quiet one.
The kitchen is serious underneath the styling. Beef comes from Bielak Farms in Ontario and is dry-aged at Cheese Boutique under culinary director Afrim Pristine, alongside a compact raw bar and sushi list, and a menu with room for pizza and curly fries. On Wednesdays guests roll a die, and a one takes the whole bill down to a dollar.
It is a room where people stay late and take pictures of each other, which is the entire reason the booth belongs in it.

Black and gold, four shots, the venue's wordmark set under every column, and a welcome screen in the same lettering, so the booth reads as part of the room rather than a machine parked in it.
